TriNet login or Password Issues

Please refer to the information below when you are having issues logging into or having Password issues with your TriNet account.

Forgot your Password?
No problem! Just go back to the login page and click Forgot Password.
Enter your Login ID and send a code to your email address or your mobile phone via text. You’ll need to enter the code and follow the instructions to reset your password.
If your password isn’t working, make sure your Caps Lock isn’t on since passwords are case sensitive.
Forgot your Login ID?
Go back to the login page and click Forgot Login ID. Follow the instructions to verify your identity and retrieve your Login ID.
Want to Change your Login ID?
After logging into TriNet, go to Settings in the left menu and scroll down to Login ID.
Need to Unlock your Account?
Go back to the login page click Unlock Account. Enter your Login ID and send a code to your email address or your mobile phone via text. You’ll need to enter the code and follow the instructions to unlock your account.
Multi-Factor Authentication
Your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) phone number and email address are necessary for verifying your identity. Your MFA email address may or may not be the same as your profile email address and will not update when you update your profile email address. To update your MFA phone number or email address, log in and go to Settings > Multi-Factor Authentication. You'll need to verify your updated contact information.
